This morning at 9 am my male dwarf gourami was in the tank. Today at 5 pm he is gone. I searched the whole tank and there is not even a remenance of him. I looked behind and beside the tank, under the lid, you name it. He's just gone! Could my other fish have devoured him that quickly? He was the biggest fish in the tank. The others are mollies, platies, swordtails, rasboras, a guppy and a synodontis (upside-down) catfish in that tank right now (30 gallons). Any ideas? Anyone know if synodontis catfish can get mean?

PS. Pay no attention to my signature, the fish have been moved around since then.

I would imagine he's still in there somewhere, I actually had the same problem with my angel today and I finally picked up a piece of large driftwood and sure enough there she was just hanging out under there.
Don't think that fish smaller than a dwarf gourami could completely devoure it in that amount of time, but I'm no expert

keep checking on the floor and under any of the furniture that is near the tank. I had a gourami jump out of my tank before.
