My Pencil Urchin

When I looked at him this morning it looked like he was "stuck" against the glass and a piece of LR. I reached in to move him and with minimal force it felt like he was stuck. I pushed the LR back enough so he can out easily and he darted back under some more LR. Should I be worried about him getting perminantly stuck or can they unstick themselves. I dont know what the limits to moving thier spines are. Also it looked like my brittle star was attached to him.

he should be able to get himself out of what he gets himself into, my urchin gets in some tight spaces, but i cant help him (he isnt a pencil urchin, he has soft sharp spines), and he gets out by himself
