I saw a 20gal planted tank for 400$. Talk about a rip off.
Saddest part is that someone will pay that for it I'll bet.

Man I could never think of asking those kind of prices for a used tank. That's just insane.

I'd be lying if that wasn't the only rip off. I live in a "Rich" area where people think they can get ALMOST what they paid for something, even years later. You should see the prices on used computers here. I don't care if you paid $2000 for you 233mhz computer 10 years ago, it's not worth $500 now, lol.

Wonder what it would cost if it actually had a canister filter with it! $3000?

Wow. Unless that has a 30g sump, canister filter rated for 100 gallons, and two MH lights, it is cheaper to buy that at Petsmart.
I never understood why aquariusts will use an oak stand and canopy, but they choose a tank with a black rim.

Guess they figure that used equipment is now an antique so should cost more. You take a heck of a chance buying any tank used. To get it to sell, it needs to be priced at least reasonable.

Yet I try to sell something to the same "people" for $5 and they are trying to talk me down to $3!
