I took my 3 yr old niece to L L Beans (or as she calls it bubble beans) yesterday --- they have an awesome tank built into the wall. I have no idea of how many gallons, but it is awesome. It is designed to resemble a maine river bed -- I would guess it was about 25 feet long. It house native brook trout and some others. It was incredible to watch them -- it also had a place where you could crawl under and stand up in this bubble thing and your head would be inside the tank and you could look all around!! My niece convinced me to crawl in there with her --- I am sure that was quite a site to be seen on the outside!!!:hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange:
but must admit it was way cool in there watching the fish swim! Wouldn't that be something to have in ones house???
The next time I go I will bring my camera so that I can take a few pics to show you all.

This user on youtube has a loach river tank and some related videos.
It seems very cool. If I ever have room for a large tank I'd like to go for a similar setup.

I have had the privledge of working on a few large tanks myself acutually. One was a 7500 gallon fish only marine tank, and the other was a 50,000 Gallon home aquarium that was built right into the guys basement. Houseing some of the biggest fish I have ever seen!
