ok so i have almost everything for my 10g planted tank. last thing on my list is substrate. I can pick up flourite at petsmart but i was wondering what everyone prefers. I wanna use a substrate that isnt gonna limit what i can plant. So suggestion would be great!
i like eco-complete the best

I love fluorite. I just love the way it works. If you can find the new Flourite dark, get it, because it looks great in a planted tank.

You mean like ada aquasoil? It's really goo stuff, from what Ive heard, but it is pretty expensive.
You could also go with Shultz Auatic PLant Soil, which works pretty well, and is relatively cheap. It will also lower your pH.
Or go with small grae pea gravel and use fluorish tabs or something.
Eco complete is also pretty good, but I dont like the color.

I'm cheap, pick up a bag of Shultz Aquasoil at Lowes for around $7, enough for 2- 10's
Plants love it
