My preference is saltwater, thats about all i buy for now. I still have a few FW tanks, and they just have fish that ive had for a long time and dont want to get rid of. FW just isnt a challenge for me anymore

I might not ever go to SW, I like growing plants too much. Not that I don't like SW, I'm just predicting it wouldn't get the time and effort of my FW tanks.

Freshwater, but when we get our own house again there will be a SW tank. So far we have 2 freshwaters. One is 42g and the other is 55g.

I have both.
I like saltwater better, but it is way more expensive that FW so I can't have more than a couple SW tanks up at one time.
FW is great too, but if I had the money all my tanks would be SW except one or two.

No salt water for me anytime soon.I have my pride and joy 58gal planted, and 2 vivariums,1 for firebelly toads and the other is a heavily planted tree frog tank.and of course my oudoor pond.SW tanks require too much money for me to feel comfortable getting into.

2 FW (55g community, 5g betta) and 2 SW (90g reef, 20g quarantine).
I've been keeping busy with the reef, but it's about time I finally follow through on getting my FW tanks planted.

I have both! I like both! :18:

My 150G used to be a predator reef...i invested far to much money in it so when a power outage wiped it out Ive vowed to never do a reef again. I will most definatly in the future do some large FOWLR pred tanks tho, but right now I keep entirely FW with the exception of my brackish 100G :)
