Hi, I have a dwarf gourami, and around it's stomach it seems to be bulging some, he has also been pooping alot, and I just wanted to see if this was normal or not.

it's kind of an orangish color, i feed him once a day, some days tropical flakes, and other days frozen bloodworms. I have been feeding him a small pinch of food because I was worried, that it was a bacterial infection. So I put in a pea for him to eat, and he didn't want any of it, although he did go for the algae wafer that I had in there for my clown pleco, and that's how the bulging seemed to go away the first time.

Now it's a few days later, and he has the little bump again, right behind his pectoral fins. it looks almost as though he's swallowed a small marble.

If it is constipation should I feed him smaller amounts twice a day, instead of the normal amount I feed him once a day?

try not feeding for a couple of days but still try a few peas to play safe........but his poo if its orangeish sounds healthy if it was internal bacteria they would be white,
