Doh!!!

Lol, the other day when I was cleaning out my garage and loading my car with stuff to donate to Goodwill, I overlooked a few special items and off they went. I saw them clearly, and I thought "No problem, I don't need these."
Lol, now I am checking Goodwill constantly to try and get the items back, but they haven't unloaded the carts of stuff I donated to the shelves yet.
Has this ever happened to any of you?

Nope not really.....but almost! A couple weeks ago I had a bag of my daughters shoes she had outgrown and there is a drop off box in one of the shopping plaza's. So my husband had called as I was getting the bag out of the trunk and I answered it, then got disconnected. Apparently I put my phone in the side pocket of my door and didn't remember b/c I spent the next 20 minutes searching my car and hoping that it wasn't somehow put in the bag I had just put in the donation box! lol I felt like such a moron once I found it though.

Good luck getting it back. What was it exactly? Lmao, it was a collection of old toys from my childhood. I was wanting to save them so I could pass them on if I ever had kids(part of a series of toys I had that brought my brother and I the most good ol' action figure fun ever). I mainly remember playing with them with my brother alot, and I even remember my brother and I each playing with them when we went blackberry picking at a duck pond. Just thinking of that duck pond in general makes me kind of teary for some reason...

I have seen the clothing we donated there yesterday, but nothing else. I am thinking they will unload the rest of our stuff in the next day or so.

Well I'm as bad as you and have done the exact same thing! I was silly enough to have the bags to donate with the bags for storage... yeah I'm sure we can all see what happened there. And no I never got them back
