Ok I think either my emerald crab is dead or molting but I think he is dead. Reason being is that he kept climbing on my cup coral and today I went and looked and guess where he was? On his back at the base of the cup coral. Could the cup coral of killed him?

I put him on his feed on the bottom and he drifted onto his side. I will wait until tomorrow and if no change he is going down the toilet.

never put anything non-native down the toilet, live or dead. if its for sure dead, wrap it in paper towel, put it in a sealable bag, and garbage it

Why not even if its dead?
It may be carrying non-native parasites and plant particles which could devastate local waters

...Could the cup coral of killed him?

Unlikely. Turbinaria doesn't pack much of a sting and the crab's exoskelton offers great protection from nematocysts. The crab likely just died in proximity to the cup coral.
