Hi all - I'v entered into this website by chance and it does seem to be very interesting. I recently acquired a tropical fish tank and I do have a variety of community fish. They are not the problem at the moment (although I have had a few). I've acquired a fantail goldfish (a biorb has been purchased) but each section of the tail has split into two so it looks as if it has four tails. Is this normal?

Thanks

Lynne

There should be an upper and lower lobe one both the left and right sides. This is why they are called fantail, they have the double tail as opposed to the natural version which is just a single upper and lower lobe.
