So I was looking on a stores website at the fish items they carry...just out of pure bordem and came across this review for a tetra whisper filter. Oiy....the thought of cleaning your tank that way is just scary. lol

We've had our tank for three years and this lil' filter has done the trick. If you want a super clean tank this is a great filter for clean water.
Note: There will always be some settled "gunk" at the bottom from fish waste . . . no fear. The solution is easy!
Simply remove the fish into a holding tank using their current water. Remove all of your decorative tank itmes. Now, stir up the rocks/marbles etc. really good. It will look terrible! Plug in a second filter for about two hours . . . and your water is back to "gunk" free.
It's much easier to buy a second unit than hauling the 80lb tank in the bathroom.
Sure, "HE-MEN" can lift 80lbs . . . but you don't have to. Besides just a lil' wrong pressure and you've snapped the tank!
Happy fishing!
