Well after i got my tank all set up and stocked I got 2 red tail sharks from an actual fish store, and they both died shortly after. I then noticed white cottonish looking stuff on my one blood parrot, one jellybean, and one black convict. So I went to my petsmart and bought the fungus med. tablets and ended up doing two treatments, anouther 5 days later after a water change. During that time my parrot looked like it rolled around in mood. He normally has some black on him... but the black had spread and looked pretty bad. Thankfully it has cleared up. All the cottonish spots are gone and Marty is back to normal. (im blaming the fish store, i think my sharks were sick when i got them)
anyways my convict that had it is really dark now. They were both very alike and now my one has bars adn the other is almost solid black. If you look close you can see his bars, and i noticed the other has an orange spot *meaning she is female* I wonder if the other is a male. He doens't have a bump on his head but they are also very young... and I'm in trouble if he is haha Does anyone know if its normal for them to completely change color like that? is it just him getting older or something, or was it a problem with that fungus stuff? He seems very healthy....
