hi every body ive found this really good diy tank stand site its really good and helped me alot all u have to do is type in ur measurments for ur tanks and it comes up with the sizes that u need but u need to be good with ur hands and know how to build things properly with timber for this.

hope that it helps any body in need for a tank stand thats cheep but good

although it wouldn't accept my first length of 96in...as 72 is as high as it goes.

if i build a tank it's going to be a long one i think and go across a wall of a room.

This thread deserves a bump, because I REALLY like that calculator, should make a very solid base! We're in the planning stages for a 90g High and I need to build the stand before we buy the tank.

I'm really digging the 4x4 framing.
