Tornado's started in at 11 PM last night and hung around until 3 AM.
All the usual stuff that goes with it, driving rain, sheet, thunder, lightening going on for hours. Todays a flood watch because 5-7 inches of rain fell here and we are saturated with water from many days of rain already.
I did add something neat to my computer just yesterday and it is a great little alarm of sorts. It's a small icon next to the clock on my desk top that gives the weather but also flashes during storm warnings. Glad I had it or never would have known there was a storm brewing. It flashes when something is going on.
The power never went down! yeaaaa

MI very, very seldom has tornado's especially in my area as we are in a valley. This year we've had several already but been very, very lucky.
I should try to find where I found that weather icon to pass on the information tho. It's really nice to have!
Here it is.

It gives you a tool bar that I got rid of and just put this tiny weather thing on your computer.

stay safe. we just had some major storms and lost power for a little over 24 hours. Weather people said it wasn't tornadic but what the heck do they know. Said we had 100mph straight winds but DH thinks it might have been a gustnado (mix of the 2 really). The storm twisted tops of trees off and threw them hap hazardly. I have never seen straight line winds do that, usually they up root trees not twist em up.
What you are getting is heading my way tomorrow. hopefully with less gusto, we are still cleaning up from the last one.
ugh!

Sounds like a tornado to me. Wind does not twist like that. Stay safe there, too.
