I have him in a 250G tank hough he is only 6.5"..........I bought him at 5 inches.....He's my favourite.....:19: :19: :19: :19:

Hey guys you wouldn't believe I have three filters in my arowana tank and two different light settings,the schedule is as follows.....

1) 6 AM to 2 AM,external filter and internal UV light
2) 2 AM to 10 PM Internal bio filter and long airstone and external UV purple aquarium light,this is the time he feeds on
3) 10 PM to 6 AM another internal biofilter with power head and no light.

,I found a few cockroaches a week back and quarentined them,today at 12:00 AM in the night I thought I will feed him and put on the external light with internal night filter and dropped 2 cockroaches,He came near them but never took them for like 15 mins,then I switched from night filter to evening biofilter and airstone(2nd option) and the same external UV light he ate like 4 cockroaches.....Is it that he needs the same environment to feed and to sleep and to be active....he baffles me :laugh1blue:

Might not want to feed roaches though as they can somtimes be poisoned and not die from it but it is still in thier system because they become tolerant of pesticides.
