I decided to stock a new tank yesterday, since I determined it had finally cycled. I bought 1 male creamsicle lyretail, 1 female dalmatian, 1 female silver, and 1 female gold dust. Both the gold dust and the dalmatian were noticeably pregnant, but after careful observation I determined they still had some time before going into labor and let them stay loose in the tank.

This morning, I checked on them when I woke up and noticed the gold dust was definitely thinner. I assumed she'd miscarried, because she's assuredly the smallest in the tank and the others were chasing her. Lo and behold, right as I was getting up to leave the tank, a TINY little orangish fry popped up! I quickly nabbed him and went to but him in the fry tank with 2 8- or 9-day-old balloon molly fry, but I realized they'd grown so much they'd probably eat the tiny little thing. I put him in his own breeding trap, and searched the tank for a good 10 minutes without any luck and gave up on finding more fry. I stood up to leave again, and all of a sudden a slightly larger, black fry zipped past the front of the tank. I put him in with the other baby, but he's NOTICEABLY larger. Could one possibly be frommt he dalmatian and the other from the gold dust?

Will be attaching pictures shortly, need to scan the tank again :)

Awww they are cute. Congrats!
I could never get a pic that good of fry.
A couple days and they should have grown enough to not get picked on by the other fry. Ive kept Molly fry that were born 3 weeks apart together and they were fine.

MelloCello, you should go for guppies. Mollies are nice but they can get kinda big and would outgrow a 10 gallon quickly if they were breeding.
Male fancy guppies are awesome to watch, they flutter their tails.
