New tank plastic odor?

Just set up my new 29 gallon tank and the water has a very strong plastic odor from the decorations and the plants. Is this something I should worry about or will it go away after awhile? I just started my filtration system (Fluval 305) and there are no fish in the tank. I'm planning on trying a fishless cycle.

I would hope it goes away in time...once algae starts growing on stuff, that will be a big help...
