Just brought this baby home today. She is eatiung wonderfully and that was the main concern, however that is not a concern anymore. She is gobbling down frozen food with gusto.

Mr. Prototype, Copper Banded Butterflies - Chelmon rostratus come from the Indo-west-Pacific and get up to about 8" long. They are extremely finicky eaters. They are the absolute best Aptasia eaters available and they will also clean your tank of feather dusters as well. Because they are such finicky eaters they are not for the beginning hobbyist at all. Many will not eat and must be enticed with food on a half clam shell. They generally will only accept frozen foods but will occasionally accept pellet foods. I am hoping mine will take to NLS quickly. The black spot on their dorsal is to fool predators, it is a false eye and the predators will go after it and not do any real damage.

What would be the minimum tank size you would recommend? I want something larger to swim in my 55g and it eating my aptasia wouldn't be a problem at all.thumbs2:

Well, considering they max out at right around 8" and they need their space for swimming, they are surprisingly quick, I'd say nothing smaller than a 90gal tank for them. A 55gal may be pushing it slightly.

I won't risk it then. What would you recommend for a 55g?
