Sorry i was sure of that, but it maybe (Mylochromis mchuse) you know that lfs and such just call em assorted malawi cichlids because so many have no name!

Hay your link is not the fish that i found, just google (lombardoi blue pics) thats what i done!

it is the same fish lol the orange ones are the males.. you can use the drop box under the picture to look at a picture of a female lol

It's kinda hard to tell by those pics. The color changes have way down on them. Is the fish blue? Are the stripes always present?
I have a fish that looks alot like it but it's small yet. The stripes aren't always present either. When the stripes on mine aren't showing it looks just like a Pseudotropheus socolofi. I dunno if the stripes are a juvenial thing or just poor quality or maybe even a hybrid issue. Check out a pic of P. socolofi and compare yours to it.

It's not lombardoi (kenyi) because of the black on the top fin.

Hay ive done a bit of a google and this is my top 3
Pseudotrpheus-solcolofi labeotropheus-fuelleborni placidochromis-electra blue, well hope this helps you!

Possibly a female pseudotropheus socolofi (displaying stress barring)...or a hybrid with p. socolofi lineage.

Stress barring is typically a temporary pattern display in socolofi's.

I'd go with that haha not like we could be 100% with walawi cichlids!

It does not look like a kenyi to me. I would say socolofi or a color variant of labidochromis or a hybrid with either of those species in it.
