View Full Version : ghost knife with oscar?

hi every one was wondering if it would be ok to put a small ghoast knife with my small oscars and hopefully grow them up together and put them in my big tank with my other oscars because i no that the ghoast knife can get to a fair size and was hopeing to add him to the tank

how big is your tank??

the tank im puting it in is about 2.5ft with 2 small oscars and a small eel tail and hopfully puting him in a 4ft x2ft

quick reply!!:hmm3grin2orange: with two oscars the least you are going to need is a 75g thats for the oscars alone but if you are including a ghost knifefish you are going to need at least 90g-120g these are just suggestions,but with the tank size you are suggesting 4ft.2ft is big enough for the oscars alone,

X3 and oscars will gang up on it, and big oscars can do alot of damage!

i wont be puting them together if they grow up faster then the ghost knife ill be putting it with them when they are around the same size.

Well ok mate but same size or not oscar's will try to rule the tank!
