Vivarium build thread w/pics,a construction journey.

Here is a link to my vivarium build photo album.I will be updating it from time to time till it is finished.All of the first 3 pics were accomplished this afternoon.The pics are step1,step2 ,etc.This is fun to build I can hardly wait to put some sort of frog in it,probably Whites tree frogs.

That looks like fun to make, how come you used black and not clear silicone?

Black is used on the sides on the inside to mask grid work an other unnatural sights from outside view.It is also used over the great stuff foam as an adhesive for natural fillers such as dirt and moss and as a waterproofer.I will be doing the great stuff backround this evening.

tree frogs of some sort.Probably Whites tree frogs.

Cool its good to be difrent, i was thinking geko it seams like every one getting em lately.

New pics under the above link.Tonight I cleaned up the backround,glued stone chips into the pool and rough fitted a water course.

Watercourse looks neat. Can't wait to see it finished, but take your time. Maybe some little newts would add to it, although I still can't tell what the finished product will look like :11:, so there could be computability issues. I just like newts cause they're free (easy to catch as well^^).

Ill be using some sort of tree frog.Id love to have poison dart frogs but my experiance level and there price is prohibitive.I will be waiting at least a week after the last drop of silicon is applied to stock anything so all the solvents can air out.

This cookie is done ,time to enjoy it.Im waiting a while to plant and stock it due to leftover fumes from silicon,and great stuff foam.I hope you all enjoyed looking at my progress as much as I enjoyed sharing it with you.Thanks for looking!!!
