Dwarf Cichlids are from South America in General - fish that are dwarf cichlids are the Apistogramma, Microgeophus, Nannacara family's - they like a low PH
Shell Dwellers are from the Lake Tangayika and are usually very very small and live as the name says in shells - The Neolamprologus are one of the family's - They like a High PH
Keyholes are also South American cichlids but just that bit larger than dwarfs although they also still fall into the dwarf cichlid list. They can easily live in bigger groups and normal/neutral PH conditions
