Scrub it off, or let it grow?

Should I scrub the algae off of the larger rocks in my tank, or just let it grow? I have no problem with it either way, but I just want to do what is best for the tank.

I also never scrub the algae off of the back glass, is that okay also?

You can just leave it on, as long as it is green algae.

eds opionions good...........but its your choice,you could scrub some off and leave some on as long as its green algea it wont hurt your tank,i scrub the algea off the back of my tank if it gets to much

As long as it doesn't detract from the look of the tank, there's not problem leaving green algae in there. Some pieces of decor even look better with a little algae on it.

If it gets too much, scrub it off. I also use Flourish Excel. In concentrated doses it'll kill algae without scrubbing. Can be useful on certain pieces that you don't want to scrub too hard.

I wipe the inside of my glass down with a sponge every couple of weeks. Gets nasty looking if you don't.

I don't like algae. IMO, get rid of it.
