Little pickup today

I will get pictures tomorrow but I went out to my favorite LFS and they had a cup coral for 35$ and a rock with like 15 mushrooms on it for 30$. They went in my nano reef and I also got a short tentacle plate coral for 45$ today to go in my 55g reef. All in all a good pick up if I do say so myself.... The mushrooms really made my day.

Very nice.

You may already know this, but Plate corals are actually more at home on the substrate and not up on the rock.

Are you sure that is a short tentacled plate coral? It doesn't look like any plate coral I've ever seen. If it is, it must be a species of STP I'm not familiar with.

It's not a plate, it has a foot that extends from it, I think it is LPS.

*duh* I just realized, you haven't posted a picture of the Plate coral yet. LOL That's the Cup Coral you posted. LOL Must be the 97 degree heat I was out working in just before I posted. LOL

Lol I will get around eventually to taking a picture of the plate coral, it IS on the sand, don't worry.
