Fish Enthusiast!!

Hey everyone!!

I just found this site while I was browsing and decided to make it my main forum. I've been into fish my whole life. From reading about them, watching them on TV, or fishing for them fish have always been on my mind. I now own my own Bait and Tackle shop here on Long Island and I have a 75 Gallon Acrlyic tank set up with a Largemouth bass named Leroy. He's been with me since April 1st and has grown from 5-15 inches since then! I'll be taking some pictures of the tank and the fish soon for all to see!
I also have a 35 Gallon Hex tank with 4 oscars, 2 Plecos, 2 crayfish and also a 125 Gallon with 6 piranhas and 3 Exodons.

I'd love to meet more people on here that love fish just as much as I do.
So please help me enjoy my stay here!

Hi Dave and welcome to AC Community Forums. We have a neat groups of people here and the forum stays pretty active. The best kind of forum. As you search around the site you'll find you can have a blog of your own, post pictures for the contest entries and the menu on the left takes you to information regarding fish diseases, etc.

Nice to have a new face. Hope to see you around a lot.

Welcome to the forum Leroybass....must be great having your own business. I am sure you will enjoy your stay here. Since you say you have loved fish all your life, I am sure you have spent some time learning the basics of keeping your fishy friends and realize that 4 oscars in a 35 gal isn't going to work for long! :) One oscar probably wouldn't stay happy in a 35 gal, esp with 2 plecos who unless they are some of the smaller species will become tankbusters for you.

Hi Leroybass, always good to have another fish fanatic with us. I can't wait to see pics of your piranhas and exodons. I'm sure you'll enjoy this forum, like Hobbs said, it is very active, with lots of competitions and the like to keep things interesting!

Thanks for the great welcome! The Oscars are going to be moved into a 100+ tank come christmas time, the plecos are rather small at the moment so it's ok. I look forward to spending alot of time on this site!
