I've had my Largemouth for almost a year now and he's like a son to me. Does anyone else have a Largemouth on here?? I'd love to see how your fishes progress has been.

Thanks guys! A walleye sure would be sweet in a tank, watch them feed at night. Sunfish would also be cool, I've put a few small ones in but the bass won't let them live haha. Largemouth can grow upwards of 20 lbs. The world record is something just shy of 25. They will only get about 24-30" but they get reallll fat.

ONLY 24 - 30" lol. A two and a half foot bass would be a pretty impressive fish

haha. I'm hoping he'll be able to get that big in captivity. I figure by the spring time he'll be around 5lbs.

really 30"

ive never seen a 2'-2nd half foot bass. my guess is 18" at most. but like you said, he'll get mighty fat.

if you've had him for a year, he should only have about a few months left of growing and than just pure fattening.

awesome man, what temperature do you keep the tank at?
