Here's a pic of my little Pleco 'Crusty'. I've had him for a few months, but he's just now feeling comfortable enough to come out during the day.

What can I say???? A face only a mother could love! :1luvu:

Very cute! I have just recently fallen in love with pl*cos. I would love to get a clown but I haven't been able to find any.

Still waiting on mine to get settled in. It's been in the tank for about 4 months but still too shy for daylight sightings. Loves being under the driftwood!

I was starting to wonder if we'd ever see our Clown. Finally, after about 2 months, he started to come out during the day.

I never thought a fish could be so much fun to watch. He's quite the comical little fella.

That's too funny. I bought a Clown Pleco about a month ago and named him Krusty as well. May be we should get them together. lol

BTW He's a cute little guy.

Just FYI folks, the species is Peckoltia vittata. They were the first 'exotic' pleco to become available in decent numbers about 25 years ago.

Hey Dave! Welcome back! You were here when I first joined this forum but seemed to disappear.

I have a question? Is the Clown not Panaqolus maccus? I'm super new to fish and quite clueless. I actually planned to purchase a BN, but my LFS had little Crusty so I purchased him instead. I was told he was a Panaqolus maccus.
Did I not get a Clown?
