What Kind

I will be picking up a 15gal tank in the next week -- will do a fishless cycle. I would like to put a pair of shell dwelling cichlids in there. Any suggestions on what kind I should get?? would like to do some research before making my selection

Honestly, unless you are buying them online, your only hope is to see what the LFSs near you carry or could get in. No use coming up with a great one based on books and the internet if they won't be available.

have u ever bought fish off the internet?? if so how did you make out and where?

Check out Atlantis in NY (www.cichlids.net) They have a decent selection, and are fairly close to you for shipping.
