Anyone on here have some frags? What kind and what kind of lighting do you have on your frag tank? If you do I might pm you and talk to you and see if you might be interested in selling or w/e also but I am turning a 30g into a frag/ spare LR tank and need info.

If you want to do a frag tank, do a half tank, like a halved 30 tank. The top half is cut off, so there is not a lot of depth, so you don't need a whole lot of extra lighting.

I have plenty, but it would be extremely hard to get it across the border, probably wouldnt be worth it. i have polyp frags, pulsing xenia, toadstool leather, cabbage leather, yellow button, and brown zoa frags

Drum is right, you want to make your tank shallow to intensify your lighting.
Another way to do it (without cutting up a tank). Is to put eggcrate on risers, and then put the frags on top of the egg crate. This picture shows the general idea, although I would have the risers go about half way up your 30, and I would make the eggcrate cover more of the tank surface area. You could also set up a "high side" and a "low side" if you know what I mean, for different kinds of corals.
The area underneath your eggcrate would be a great place for your LR.

Here is a sample mock-up of what I would do.

That is a good idea! I will probably take half of it and intensify the light on it and have a high riser and a lower riser with egg crates and then use the other half for LR seeding and such.

yep, coach is right, to mave frags you just need PVC pipes as legs, and eggcrate
