I have 3 yellow labs -- have had them for about 6 months -- the last few days I have noticed that one is always hiding and is just peeking out -- seems only to come out when it is feeding time. Is this normal or should I be worried?? I came here first before venturing out on the web to get some info!!

Thats his home. He won it fair and square. :)
In all likelihood as long as he is eating and doesnt appear ill, I wouldnt worry too much.

If I had just read a little more I would have found that this behavior is normal for them. I just hadn't seen it before!! 2 of them had always stayed pretty close, but now one is hiding and peeking out and the other 2 are chasing one another around more!! I still can't tell whether they are male or female -- and they are telling either!!!:hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange:

As long as you provide enough hiding places for everyone, they will be happy and fine.

That is perfectly normal. I never saw my 2 yellow labs until feeding time usually. Most africans do hide until feeding time.
