i have recently purchased serpae tetras and i noticed the one has a very large sagging belly. is she with eggs? should i seperate her ? with or without a male ? when do i take her out. i have them in a 90 gallon tank I have smaller tanks aswell that i use as hospitol tanks (10 gal) will they suffice.

As long as you have other tanks convenient, possibly separating her and the male from the rest may be a good idea. If not, the others may eat the eggs or even the fry when they hatch.

Yes it probably would be a good idea to separate if you wish to raise any possible fry. Since you mentioned you have smaller tanks for hospital use, I hope it stands to reason you have a method already in place to clone/instantly cycle a hospital tank so these guys won't go thru a cycle :)
