Hello everyone,

My name is Chris and I've recently purchased a 37 gal aquarium. I'm currently in IL (originally from CA) and working towards a PhD in chemistry. A few years back I used to have a 10 gal and thought it would be a great idea to start up another (taking things a lot more serious this time around). This place looks like it contains a great wealth of information (I learned about fishless cycling and am currently in the process) and I hope to contribute to it.

Good idea. I just started a public blog to record daily ammonia and nitrate readings and will consolidate it to a thread once it is complete.
