Yea the heater thing really is depressing but oh well, what can I do.
Thank you very much for the compliments on the picture, but I have to ask what makes it so special, is it the fish or the picture. I ask cause I am rookie both photographer and fishkeeper. I feel like for the compliment I must have done something correct.
I am hoping to snap some pics of the yellow pair laying eggs this weekend.
In the meantime here are some other older pics.
here is the 28 I just lost.

And here's a crappy pic of 1 of my bigger angels. He is really pretty. Long perfect fins and red eyes, almost looks evil.

Just a work of advice, to get rid of the flash showing up in your pics...Get low and take the picture on a upwards angle (doesn't have to be tilted much) that way the flash still illuminates the tank but is higher on the glass. Takes some practice to get the angle right. Tank looks great!

The first picture here is wonderful and that wood! To die for. Where did you get THAT? Our contests are monthly and if you read instructions as to how to enter the contests, you can submit 3 shots to enter whether it's 1 of the tank and two of fish or 3 of the tank or whatever as long as only 3 are submitted. Just pick out the 3 you like the best. I will resize them if necessary.

I have two angels and they hate each other. I sure wish I could keep them together. I just bought 3 babies and had them in the tank with Mr Ornery but he was nipping at their fins.

The link at the bottom of my post takes you to our website where other pictures (and yours) will be stored. If you can, will you also vote in the current contest going on. Votes are always needed. Thanks

I most def. will, I am going to try to get some better pics. I will vote later on when I get some more time to review the pics.
The wood came from a local pet store. Thanks for the advice and compliments.

Goes to show what I know. I would have thought to angle down so not to catch the aquarium lighting. But what do I know. I'm the one here that has no camera. LOL

Because it was the introduction thread?

You do have some great pictures and I suggest entering them into next months contest. Please read the Competitions Rules tho for resizing and posting to make it easier to naviagate thru such large pictures.

This top picture is my very favorite.
