Red Severum?

Anyone seen the Red Severum? Kinda different looking.

They are great looking fish. We had some one bring a couple of them into work as they outgrew the their tank. They didn't even make it into our rescue pond, as they were bought even before they got released from the bucket.

I think they look rather cool too and might end up ordering one of these guys. I see ThatPetPlace has them as well as several other fish I'd like. It's hard to find one store that has everything you want.

wow! i bet they grow up to be stunning! they are just a gold severum w/ more red coloration...correct?

Yes, they are. Just not sure how they get the red coloring. Severums come in gold, green and tourquoise and now the red is added to the list.

i would imagine they were developed through selective breeding...until they got the red they wanted. i have a male gold severum that has quite alot of red on him, but not like the one pictured. i may have to look into getting one of them...

Yes it is red severum. They are kinda expensive over here. CAn anyone tell me if it is possible to breed one with a blood parrot?
