I really want some type of pleco for my 20g. The only small kind I can find is a rubbernose. Can i keep this in a 20g with platys and maybe a female betta?

What about clown plecs,they are as common as house cats around here and they stay small.

really? I am on the west coast, and I cannot find a single one, petco, petsmart, etc. none. all there is is a ruberlip

That sucks,Ive never kept RN,if they are under 3" Id say go for it,plecs are seldom ever a problem with any peaceful fish,even your beta.

clowns are great, and stay small. petsmart should have them, petsmarts here have 20-30 at a time

I took the betta out, she was agressive.
I will check with petsmart... the rn get up to 5 inc apparently, but they said 20g. go fig
