I'm pretty sure this is a female opaline gourami, but could anyone confirm it for me?

Judging from the links Sandy posted it is an Opaline. Confused.... It doesn't really matter I guess as it's the only one in the tank I was just curious if it was a boy or girl and if it was a blue or opaline. When I bought him/her it was labelled as a blue but it doesn't have the two spots. The pic was the best I took out of about 300 photos too. Photography is not my strong suit!!!

The pics not bad. I think it can be hard to get a really good picture of a fish that's always in motion. I think a lot of it depends on your camera. My camera can't get sharp pictures (or couldn't when it was working) of moving objects. It was not a very expensive one. But hey, it was good enough to find a link to identify it! :hmm3grin2orange:

it is definately an opaline and does look to be female. I have 5 opalines myself. They are beautiful fish.

Thank you everyone!
I thought that the Male Gourami's were the aggressive ones? This one has killed my dwarf gourami and loves to chase my red tail shark (never gonna catch it!!!) and to annoy my angel.
I guess women are moody too ;)
