I was taking pics of my plants and my Rams started posing so I had to. Here are some pics of my German Blue Ram Dwarf Cichlids, they are becoming more and more popular I've noticed, along with there brother the Bolivian Ram. Everyday I see some flaring and display of colors and fins.

Thanks for the compliments. My plants are holdin up but not as good as I want them to, still some algae and slow growth if any in some plants.

I'm concerned about one of my Rams that is far less colorful than all the others and she is the second oldest in the tank. I figured her colors would develop when I first introduced her but she looks the same as day one. She seems to be the weakest of them all, not standing up to none of the others, and she is pushed around easily. She seems shy and timid toward the others but she is the first to come see me at the front of the tank. Would she be more happy if I moved her out of this tank and into my 20g peaceful community? She would be the only Ram in the 20g.

Ramguy,

Nice tank and the fishes too!

Before I had problems with my plants not growing the way I want them to be until I added another light unit and that's when my plants started to sprout and grow like wild to a point where I had to trim them down and replant them. Of course adding a few algae eaters will cut down your algae growth. Although my tank is only 20 gals, I have about 5 to 6 algae eaters and they keep the algae to a minimum as I still scrape them off once a week.
