Hello my name is skinni, and im a fishaholic... lol

Just thought i would introduce myself since i came in and just started with the question. I have a 55 gallon tank with several fish in it. I kinda did the noobie thing and jumped right in without enough research, you guys are now helping me correct my issue. Soon everything should be good to go. I plan on buying anouther 30-50 gallon tank in the near future and getting a small 10 gallon tank to try my hand at doing alittle breeding.

I never realized that having fish could be so fun and interesting, im really glad that guy that gave me my tank got tired of it lol. anywho i look forward to talking you guys and gals

Glad to meet you Greg. Make sure the next time you get a tank to do the fishless cycle and that will save you a bunch of work.

not sure who greg is ;) my name is daniel hehe

however after reading some in your breeding section here i decided that i wanted a tank to try my hand at breeding so at about 12:30 am i headed out to walmart and picked up an 18 gallon tank... i want to do the fishless cycle but i couldn't find any ammonia with no surfactant... i bought a bottle with nothing but ammonia and surfactant in it because i couldn't remember what the thread said about what kinda to get and it was only 97 cents... but i was sad to find out that i purchased the wrong one... it was the only kinda on the self at walmart... any pointers on where i can find the correct ammonia to add?

G'day and welcome!
You could try getting some filter media out of your existing tank and putting that in the new tank to help start it off, but others here know more about that and can help you with the specifics.
