Pinpoint Monitors

Has anyone tried these? We bought a nitrate monitor and couldn't get it to calibrate. Took it back and the store tried 3 more and couldn't get them to work. Had heard they were supposed to be really good, but the people at the supply place say they are junk.

Any comments??????

I've never bothered with them. But I've never really had to. My tank is set up in such a way that I don't really have to worry about pH swings.

too expensive, the electrodes need replacing, and they are expensive as well. I dont use them, I dont really have the need for that kind of tool.
