Hi all,
Just starting a new 20 gal tank, I am going to stock it with mostly platys, added biospira and then four platys to get things going, I'm monitoring levels to make sure everything is okay. I checked the fish at the store and they looked fine but I must have missed the one white spot in the side of one the fish. I noticed it as soon as they were released into the tank and they were under my tank lights. I caught the fish and isolated it immediately, but now what? I'm guessing it is ick but there is just one spot about 1mm in diameter and it looks raised above the skin by about 1mm.
Is the tank going to be alright? How should I procede, thanks for the help.
