Weird job offers

So today I was just walking into the grocery store, and a lady pokes her head out of her car window and says "Hi" and do I live in town? I figured she needed directions... She proceeded to offer me a job in her catering business. This is the third job offer I've had in as many months without looking or wanting another job (but then I won't get into our crazy economy and lack of workforce LOL).

Anyways, wondering what stories everyone has... What's the weirdest job offer you've had, or the weirdest place you've been and gotten a job offer?

At a Philadelphia Eagles game. The guy wouldn't tell me what they sold but it was 600-1000 bucks a week. He was real shifty and i said thats cool i got a job.

I was offered a job at the junkyard when I walked in and knew every detail about the particular part I wanted (girl at the counter had no clue) I don't really think the guy was serious though, lol

I took one of the military wives to sears auto to have something fixed on her car. I mentioned one thing about a transmission and next thing I know the manager comes out of the store, out to the parking lot and tells me to come in, fill out an application that they could file and that I would be hired on the spot. One thing about a transmission and they think you know enough to work in automotive....lol granted it was probably a job at the front desk but still odd.

Lol, I thought it was funny that the junkyard guy was impressed that I knew what kind of car I have (umm.. yeah that's real hard, lol)

I've taken my car to Sears before, for some reason it took a 5 mile test drive and two hours to get my wheels aligned, and when I picked the car up it was carefully parked away from everyone else and had paper floor mats in it... hmm... took my cousin's minivan there the next day for the same thing, had no extra miles, only took an hour, no paper floor mats, and was parked with everything else when I picked it up! Now I can't go there without the tire guy smiling at me and asking if I still have my Lincoln, maybe he'll offer me a job next time, lol

Right now i do private evictions. If you dont pay your rent i show up and throw ur junk out into the street. LOL Fun stuff

Not a job offer...but I was walking my mini-dachsie in the city the other day (killing time waiting for kids to do kid stuff) and a big white van stops...guy sticks his head out the window and asks:

"Is that a male?"
"No, female"
"Gosh! That's too bad! I breed 'em and we need a male like that!"

LOL...what a way to select breeding stock. Do NOT buy puppies from this man...or any man like him...:laugh1blue:

This kinda stuff happens alot, people will pay hundreds just for u to "bring ur dog out to stud" so to speak.. But yea if he has to ask the sex of ur dog...LOL

I used to do repo. I never got a chuckle out of it though. Wait and see how funny it is when someone comes out with a shotgun jacking in shells and screaming obcenities.

I watch the repo show on tv occasionally and that stuff is crazy. lol
