Finally figured out an effective way of getting good pics of the cherry shrimp, im pretty proud of myself! :) Thanks to my baby for finding the magnifying glass in a big box of crap we were probably gonna throw away. Enjoy!

Nice big house they have for hiding (moss). They will have that baby full of shrimp before long. I love the way they keep the moss loose and all cleaned up.

The only time I have seen it, it has been a little ball not free like yours. I will have to research it more.

Sometimes its tighter but like hobbs said my shrimp keep it loose. I think what you are talking about are algae balls. Like these? http://www.aquabotanic.com/abstore/media/cladoballs.jpg

Hey dont be sorry bud, i had to look it up myself when i started seeing them, the do look pretty cool, and im sure its a great way to reduce the bad kinds of algae in ur tank or prevent getting them.

I don't see any pictures - that's odd. I couldn't see a video in another post. Is anybody else having this problem? I've never encountered it before. I use Mozilla Firefox, but as I said, I haven't had these problems until just now.

Ellen click help on top of the browser window, and then select check for updates. . . other than that i dont know.

And turkey, good idea bud! I wonder how big of a magnifying glass I could afford?? good luck with the shrimps, they look like they've got a good home. I want mine back, i will someday when I stop using excel . . . :ssad:
