Black lights for effects.

I am currently running a VHO 50/50 light setup. I like it, but I am looking for something different for occasional use at night. I have heard that some tropical fish look great under a black light. Has anyone here done this, and is it worth it?

I havnt done it and im not sure of the effects but ive seen pictures and been to a persons house. the look is awesome but im unsure whether its good for the fish or not.
