I put 80 lbs of Florida coral sand in my 90 gallon wide. It covers the bottom a few inches...anyway I rinsed it once as my LFS guy stated would be sufficient. Anyway it clouded as expected, I knew once was wishful thinking. Well, I stir it every time it settles to hope it will eventually clear up through my AC 110's. Will it clear eventually, if I stir it a couple times a day? I would hate to drain it then fill it a little, drain it, then fill it a little, drain it, then fill it a little, drain it...you know what I mean. That's a lot of water wasted and SoCal can use all it can get. Wish I had a screen and a stucco tub...but I don't

I'd just let it settle. The more you stir it the more you are going to send fine particles of sand through your filter, the more you do that the more you risk damaging the impeller. It will settle out, no need to keep stirring. it.
