ROFLMAO:hmm3grin2orange:

Sad part is, I am quite sure the lady previously lived in Florida, now from what I have heard of the sun and fun in Florida, why else would you move to a town that has just discovered DSL?

A fugitive on the run? :laugh1blue:

I've gotten into the wrong car before. At a mall parking lot, a friend and I jumped into what we thought was his parents' car and we waited for like a half hour for them to come out of the movie theater before we realized that we were in the wrong car.

Oh man. Is that cute or what!

My ex was leaving a bar one night (ONE NIGHT? PPTTFFFF) and he climbed in his truck, started it up and as he got to main street and could see inside and noticed the color of the interior, realized he had the wrong truck. And the keys fit the ignition!

I heard there's only 13 or so different sets of keys for each vehicle. So you have a decent chance of driving someone else's vehicle.

I found that out myself. I had an Aerostar van a few years back and locked my keys in the ignition. I was working at the bar and yelled inside.......who has a Ford. The first guy who handed me his keys fit nicely into my locks and got me inside of mine.

LOL...excellent! That is SO funny.

Speaking of keys...

Many years ago hubby and I took our 2 dogs out to the country for a walk. In my annual stupid 'lock the keys in the car' event...I did...with the dogs INSIDE on a hot sunny day...no shade...and we were miles from anywhere...and of course this was long before cell phones...

The car was my new Ford Escort Wagon.

After freaking out for what seemed like forever, watching the dogs starting to pant in the car, I was ready to get a rock and break a window to get them out...but then I found I had my old Ford Pinto key (we had just taken it to the junkyard) on me. I tried it on the driver's door. Didn't work. Tried on the passenger door. Didn't work.

Tried in the back door...

...and it worked! :19:

Got the dogs out...cried with relief...went for our walk...and finally ended up safe and tired at home after a long, hot, stressful outing..

I am heading to the nearest parking lot with 13 XF utes parked in it, I love mine, but she is getting tired, and I could do with a new one.

If you lot don't see me for a few wekks, chances are, I'm in the lockup:27:

LMAO! That was great! :)

I've put my key in a wrong car door before. Obviously going to happen at some point if you have a very popular (or should I say over populated) car. haha :) So I made it easy on myself and put a sticker on the back window so I'd know for sure it was mine. lol

How long were they in the car?

Lol, that's awesome! I've never found myself getting into the wrong car though, lol. In my old Lincoln you didn't even need the key to start it, the ignition would just turn. Also, the keys would fall out of the ignition wile driving. My mom's Explorer could also be started without a key, as long as the switch was in just the right place. My sister's Taurus does this now too. In my current Lincoln, if I use the key to unlock the driver's door, the alarm goes off and I can only turn it off my putting the key in the passenger's door - I just use my key pad on the door most of the time, lol. Must be a Ford thing??

The dogs were in the car about an hour by the time I tried the keys...as I said, any longer and we would have had to break a window...

Glad we didn't!

That's funny! Memory's not as good as it used to be!

My mom opened another car with our keys, and then we all got in and wondered why our car looked different. At that moment the owners of the car came in, but were more mad at the car key companies than us. Luckily they weren't carrying guns like that Hobbs was here.

The only differences that would be made to the story if it were our Lady would be that she would have not even made a threat in the first place. So, the story would read more like this:

...when she arrived at her car she noticed 4 young men trying to make off with the vehicle. All 4 are in critical but stable condition at County Memorial Hospital.

Many, many long years ago, my uncle moved to my home town and went to work for my dad. Uncle had a new two chevy, dad had the same year older plain jane station wagon for the company vehicle. uncle's keys, he found, would open all doors and back of dad's, plus it also would start the sw. dad's keys only would open front doors of uncle's. but it came in handy several times over the years. my aunt would lock the keys in her car or uncle would need the sw and didn't want to bother dad. it was a convenient happening.

No, Hobbs would be the wild-eyed lady holding the men at gunpoint, saying "Unlock the door NOW..." :hmm3grin2orange:
