Hey everyone! How's it going? Its going great here. Finally able to get back online after being evicted out of our other place. We are now settled in to our apartment. Finally got the internet again. I lost two fish during the move here which I thought wasn't too bad. I lost a female Endler and my female A. Gibbicep. I didn't mind losing an endler as I have many more but I was devastated when I saw my female apisto dead. She couldn't take the stress from moving. That and the water difference had something to do with it. The water we had before was well water that was a ph of 6 and was generally soft. Now the water we have is city water that is currently 7.4 in three tanks! But it is really hard water. I have not tested it for kh or gh yet as we are still getting a few things done here and there. Other than that I have noticed tremendous growth in all of my plants over the last 2 weeks of being in this new water. My ten gallon is almost completely taken over with java moss. Its every where! I have split my anubias into two plants and they are both the same size as when I split them! Oh one of my female betta's is holding a fat sack of eggs(she needs a wide load sign!). I am conditioning the male in hopes of breeding. I wish I could post pics but unfortunately during the move our nice nikon camera was stolen. ;( Any ways I could go on for hours but it is 1:30 am here and I gotta work in 4 hours! Just stoppin in to say HI!

Also forgot to mention that one pair of my angel fish that I gave to a friend of mine about 8 months ago has just recently spawned. He has about 150 fry! They will be interesting in color as the male is solid black and the female looks like marble!

Good to see your back CB. Gald you got settled in with little loss. Moving fish is never easy, getting evicted can't make it any easier. Glad you remembered us all!

Good to see you back, and settling into your new home.
Sad about losing the fish in the move, but on a lighter note, that's the difference with the average person, and us fish keepers, the average person would be counting the crockery they broke, not the fish they lost:27:
Sucks about the camera though mate:11:

Thanks everyone!
Losing my apisto was actually really hard. I lost sleep from it, didn't eat for 3 days, was sick to my stomach, and just plain grumpy!
Yeah we got evicted due to the owner losing the place to the bank and not telling us! So far we have figured we lived there and sent the owner money for about 9 months without knowing that he lost the place due to not paying his bank. It was too late for us to work something out to try and keep it so yeah..... We had 5 days to pack up and get out! The bank didn't even know we were living there! They were as shocked as we were.
On a better note we have signed a one year lease at this new place. It is about .5 mile from town instead of 15 miles. Less driving = gas savings! Especially at $3.65/gallon! I will miss the country living though. Guess I should rename myself Cityboy!! Lol. We had to find new owners for our dog and my cockatiel and parakeets. It's funny, they will allow fish and cats but no birds or dogs.
The camera being stolen has me so peeved. I had about $700 into it with the lenses and other stuff. Been keeping tabs in the local papers and grocery store/ gas station bulletin boards, and local pawn shops.
