Just thought I would share...I'm a grandfather :hmm3grin2orange: :19: :19:

I have been noticing really aggressive behaviour of my cacatuoides pair toward other fish in the tank when the other fish get close to a little cave made by the female under a piece of driftwood. I thought they were getting ready to do the deed. Well, the deed was done apparently some time ago :laugh1blue:.

I noticed a few fry swimming about the front of the cave last night with mum and dad guarding like mad. I'm totally caught unawares, so I'm going to try to feed them and let nature take her course--I'm not counting on too many survivors with the other inhabitants of my tank, but they are excellent parents. They are too small for pictures, about 4-5 mms, but will try with my dodgy camera.
