Has anyone here tried this plant.I have huge amount of it around my pond and have just cut some and planted it in my 58gal planted tank.Its a gorgeous plant.i have done some research on it and it appears to be usable above or below water,I shall see.

oh ok, that makes sense. Some of my questions have gotten lost in the threads and I have just decided to either re write them or forget them because I figured they werent worth answering to someone. LOL

It might melt or so until it starts growing. Im pretty sure the underwater growth looks different.

Nothing like making a question thread then answering your own question!I found the nursery tag to this plant and its sci name is Lysimachia nummularia.I have googled that and came up with multiple references to it.Apparently it is a very versatile plant and can be grown in many different ways including submerged.Its very exciting to find a new plant I didn't have to go out of my way to get.Ill keep you all posted on how it grows.

Did you find out any requirements for it, like lighting and temp, ph and such? It does look like a very nice plant, I'm curious if it will grow different leaves for submerged growth?

Wait a sec! I had this plant a while back. I collected it from a local river but ppeople on here told me to throw it out, so, i did. I cant remember if it grew or not.
