TROPICAL FISH. Must sell professional oak fish room with nine 20 gallon tanks, four 40 gallon tanks, pumps, heaters, lights, and more. Central filtration means low maintenance! New cost was over $15,000. Asking $3,000. Disassembled and ready to go.

You arent gonna make much for a while, dont depend on it as a sole source of income. lol GOod investment, but dont expect to see it pay for itself for a very long time. Start by breeding shrimp and snails like mad in one of the larger tanks, and do that the entire time. I would next breed some corys in the 40 but it can take up to two years for them to sexually mature... and thats kinda where ur gonna have some time to kill..growing the fish to make little fishes.
I always dream about having a nice size room just filled to the brim with tanks

LOl! I meant mysterys, theyre worth about twice as much as cherry shrimps. You could breed pond snails if you were hungry enough....lol thats about all theyre good for.

LOL, a guy I know breeds fish as his only source of income, a full time job. He has over a hundred tanks, more than half of them over 100 gallons, he is making money but not a ton, I should ask him exactly how much he makes in a year..... It is hard to make profit, but it sure is fun!
A central filtration system....I have to get one of those!

Sure would be nice to quit my job and breed fish all day... I imagine it's like breeding any animal, to make any sort of profit you have to do it in mass quantities, and in that case you are probably sacrificing on quality and proper care.

You can rig one of these up pretty easily with drip irrigation system parts you can buy at home depot. Theyre made for hydroponics but with powerheads you could easily build one for as many tanks as you needed.

There is a large market for rams and other dwarf cichlids. They can breed in 10gals, and doesnt take too long to mature.

Good suggestion. Dwarf cichlids are probably the best bet as far as profit unless you have the money to dump into fish that cost thousands, and are confident enough that one wont die

agree, they are very beautiful. Youd have to sell off some tanks and buy a 100+ eventually though.
