How do you sex juveniles?
Also, the larger one chases the smalloer one, and the smaller one chases teh borellii around. Im afraid that if i move the borellii, all the aggression will be focused on the smaller one, and it will die or something. What do you think for controlling aggresion?
Also, at what size do they start getting their colors?

They are quite easy to sex... I don't know what coloring anomala's you have? Yellow...Blue... black? If they are stressed you can especially see which is female as they have a very strong cross pattern and males don't
They are unbearable when breeding and the female WILL kill the male if you keep him in the tank during breeding. At other times they are usually ok.
Let me know which coloring you have and see if I can get some foto's up for you from the difference in sex

Thank you! How do I tell what coloring I have? Both of them have a little bit of red on the fins, but the smaller one's is more intense (and that's not saying much.)

No idea because I've never seen them near me.
Lucky duck, those are some nice cichlids, and very hard to find (at least around here). Take care of them! :19:

What sex do you think she is?
She is a she. From my experience females were mostly brown in color.
